GDPR GENERAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY

The General Data Protection Policy regulates the processing of personal data. Organisations like the Countryside Art process personal data on a daily basis. The GDPR requires us to give information about our data processing activities and how we deal with the information that we hold.
Personal Data
Personal data is defined as any information relating to a living individual from which he or she can be identified (such as a person’s name, address or date of birth).
The personal data that we collect consists mainly of customers’ names, addresses and contact details plus any other information necessary for us to be of service to our customers. This also includes the necessary financial information required, and to provide our customers with information they require.

Personal information is held on our database, in back-up form and in archive form.
Access to our database is restricted through the use of passwords. Records may be retrieved, consulted, adapted, modified or copied from time to time. Records are reviewed periodically and non-relevant records are deleted. We will endeavour to take all reasonable steps to keep all data accurate and up to date.
Third Parties
If we provide information to a third party (examples include providers of a product or service and external data processing agencies such as Parcel Force), we will exercise strict control over the third party, requiring it and any of its agents to:
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of the information and restrict access to those of its own employees.

- In addition, we will restrict the information disclosed to the absolute minimum necessary.

We may occasionally, a couple of times a year send out a newsletter or make you aware of any promotional offers we have available. If you would prefer not to receive marketing information please contact us. You will also be given the opportunity to unsubscribe each time we mail out.
Visitors to our Websites
When someone visits www.countrysideart.co.uk we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website. If we do want to collect personally identifiable information through our website, we will be up front about this. We will make it clear when we collect personal information and will explain what we intend to do with it.

Confidentiality

Access Rights
